Jester qualified for and competed in the AKC Eukanuba Championship show in Long
Beach, CA in December 2006. He represented the breed well, earning a hard look
from the judge. The show was fabulous and it was so special to show this beautiful
dog that I bred!
Jester enjoying his stay at the Westin-Long Beach,
hiding underneath the bed with his furry mouse.
Jester made his debut in the breed ring at the historic Morris & Essex Kennel Club
show. He was Reserve Winners Dog out of the Bred By Exhibitor class. The same
weekend, he was 2nd in his Sweepstakes class and 2nd in the Bred By Exhibitor class
at the PRTAA National Specialty at the prestigious Montgomery County Kennel Club
show. He did all of this at just 12 months old!
I named this puppy "Jester" because he has always made me smile - he loves everyone
and everything! Jester is happiest at my side, yet is showing his gameness and easily
earned his JE title. He is maturing into a very nice dog.
~ NEWS FLASH ~
Jester earns his first major under respected terrier judge Ric Chashoudian at the
Framingham District Kennel Club. There wasn't a major in the classes - he earned this
when he was Best of Opposite Sex over two dog Specials!!! Wow - He is truly
following in his dam's footsteps!
Jester finished his championship in short order, with 4 majors, three of them earned
over specials. The most thrilling win was under Judge Lydia Coleman-Hutchinson who
awarded him the breed over several Specials (there were no points in the classes and
I almost didn't show him!), including the #1 ranked Parson ~ this certainly finished his
championship in grand style! He is qualified for the 2006 & 2007 AKC Eukanuba
Championship show as he finished out of the Bred-By Exhibitor class.
Jester is available at stud to approved bitches. He is BAER normal and CERF clear.
