We live in close proximity to Amherst, MA, home of the famous recluse poet, Emily Dickinson.  Ms.
Dickinson was referred to as the New England Mystic..... thus Em's registered name of Mystic Poet.

Emma caught the eye of judges at a very young age.  She quickly finished her championship out of the puppy
classes, taking the breed several times over Specials.  She then went on to win Best In Sweepstakes at the
Jack Russell Terrier Association National Specialty held at the prestigious Montgomery County Kennel
Club in 2002.  Thank you to Judge Cynthia Bliven for awarding her this win over 50 other puppies!

The judging was consistent that day - her sire, BISS Ch. Parson Dusky Marksman, went on to take the breed
over 100+ other entries under respected Judge Sandra Goose-Allen.

Emma was campaigned sparsely in 2003, beating top Specials on several occasions for the breed and began
earning placements in the Terrier Group.  She took time off in 2004 to have her first litter by BISS Ch.
The Bully Pulpit.  This litter produced Ch. Mystic Poetic Justice and Ch. Mystic Masquerade JE, both who
finished quickly out of the Bred-By Exhibitor class.

Emma returned to the Conformation ring for Montgomery weekend 2005.    She showed beautifully and
brought a smile to all that saw her.  That Fall, she earned her Junior Earthdog title.  She completed her
Senior Earthdog title in August 2007, showing the epitome of what makes an eager earth worker.

Emma has a solid pedigree, with outstanding dogs behind her such as the legendary Blencathra Badger (the
first Parson to ever win at Crufts), Blencathra Nettle (littermate to Badger), Ch. Parson Dragon Fly ROM
and of course her sire, the 3-time BISS Ch. Parson Dusky Marksman ROM.

She is 13.25", BAER Normal and CERF clear.  She is a joy to live with, exemplifying the characteristics of
a Parson - playful, exuberant and overwhelmingly affectionate.

As fabulous of a show dog as Emma is, she has also made her mark on the breed in her puppies.  Ch. Mystic
Masquerade JE, Ch. Mystic Poetic Justice, Ch. Mystic Catch Me If you Can earned Emma her ROM from
the PRTAA.  Her puppies have possessed her fire, which should always be a characteristic of the breed.
Emma's is the grand dam of Ch. Stardust Who's That Girl? JE who was BOW and Best in Sweeps at the
PRTAA Specialty at Great Western Terrier Association in June 2008.  The legacy continues!  All of these
accomplishments have earned Emma her retirement as my bed dog with her best buddy Riley.
